Another South Indian Traditional Sweet called “Rava Appam”. Similar to “Banana Appam” in the earlier post. Instead of Banana, Rava (Semolina) is used as main ingredient. Unlike Banana Appam this one is little crispy on every bite with sweet taste. This can be served as evening snack to your kids, friends and neighbors. 


Ingredients
  1. Chopped Coconut
  2. 1 cup of Semolina
  3. 1 cup of refined wheat Flour
  4. 1 cup of jaggery
  5. 1 spoon of Cardamom powder
  6. 1 spoon of baking soda
  7. Sunflower oil
  8. Water

First Level Preparation
  1. Fry the chopped coconut without oil for some time
  2. Have a cup of refined wheat flour, add a cup of semolina, add a cup of coconut, cup of jaggery, half spoon of baking soda, half spoon of cardamom powder and pour some water and mix it well.
  3. Make it like a paste and keep it aside.

Cooking Process
  1. Place tawa on the stove and pour some oil.
  2. Drop the mix in the hot oil one by one (like shown in the video).
  3. Wait until it becomes golden brown color
  4. Now serve the Sweet Rava (Semolina) Appam to your friends. Happy Cooking!!!
