Ingredients
  1. Coconut (தேங்காய்)
  2. Water (நீர்)
  3. Green Gram (பச்சை பருப்பு)
  4. Cardamom Powder (ஏலக்காய் தூள்)
  5. Jaggery (வெல்லம்)
  6. Soaked Rice (அரிசி)

Procedure
  1. Start frying the Coconut (தேங்காய்) in a pan without oil for 2 minutes and keep it aside
  2. Start frying the Green Gram (பச்சை பருப்பு) in a pan without oil for 2 minutes and keep it aside
  3. Rice (அரிசி) should be soaked for 10 minutes and start grinding it in a mixer and refine the flour using filter
  4. Add the refined flour in the tawa and start frying it for 2 minutes and keep it aside
  5. Add ½ spoon of Cardamom Powder (ஏலக்காய் தூள்), fried Green Gram (பச்சை பருப்பு), fried Coconut (தேங்காய்) and mix it well.
  6. Pour some Water (நீர்) in a tawa add Jaggery (வெல்லம்), after it melts, pour it on the flour and mix it well.
  7. Start making Kolukattai and place it in an idli cooker and boil it for 5 minutes.
  8. Pidi Kolukattai is ready!!!
