Ulundhu Kanji
Ingredients
- Coconut – 1
- Water
- Soaked Black gram (Ulundhu) 100 grams
- Soaked Fenugreek (Vendhayam) 2 spoon
- Garlic (Poondu) – 10 pieces
- Jaggery (Vellam) – 2 pieces
- Salt – 1 spoon
- Cumin (Jeeragam) 1 spoon
- Cardamom 5
- Add Soaked Black gram (Ulundhu) 100 grams in a cooker, Soaked Fenugreek (Vendhayam) 2 spoon, Cumin (Jeeragam) 1 spoon, Garlic (Poondu) – 10 pieces, Salt – 1 spoon, pour Water and allow it boil upto 3 whistle
- Start grinding one full Coconut and pour some water and filter coconut milk.
- Pour some water in a pan, add Jaggery (Vellam) – 2 pieces and boil until it dissolves. Pour and filter it in a bowl.
- Add smashed 5 Cardamom in boiled Ulundhu and pour Jaggery. Finally pour coconut milk and mix it well.
