Yellow Moong Dal Badhusha | பாசிப்பருப்பு பாதுஷா | Tamil New Year Special

Ingredients
  1. Soaked Yellow Moong Dal (Pasi Paruppu) 1 bowl
  2. Sugar 1 bowl
  3. Rice Flour 1 bowl
  4. Baking Soda ½ spoon
  5. Salt
  6. Milk 1 bowl
  7. Cardamom Powder
  8. Oil
  9. Water
  10. Ghee 1 spoon
Procedure
  1. Pour 1 bowl of water in a pan, 1 bowl of water, soaked Yellow moong dal (pasi paruppu) and close the lid & allow it to boil.
  2. Check if it is well cooked and keep it aside to cool down.
  3. Start grinding it in the blender.
  4. Pour 1 spoon of ghee in the pan, add the blended yellow moong dal and mix it well. Add ½ spoon of baking soda, rice flour and mix it well.
  5. Switch off the stove and close the lid for 2 minutes.
  6. Pour 2 cup of water in a vessel and 1 bowl of sugar, add salt and cardamom powder for sugar syrup.
  7. Shape the dough like badusha and start frying it in a hot oil.
  8. Add the badusha into the sugar syrup and allow it to soak for few hours.
